The upcoming tour will be a bit more traditional, with packed audiences and a full lineup of hits from his sixteen-year career. It serves as a beacon of hopes for live music fans at one of the US’s most gorgeous venues and puts Rateliff’s talent as one of the top Americana artists of the decade on full display. The result? 2020’s Live at Red Rocks album from Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.
Basically, it was a private concert for a lucky few… with all the soul and sophistication of one of Rateliff’s arena tours. He took the proper measures to keep guests safe and produce a COVID-friendly concert, with social-distancing measures in place and less than two percent capacity. Unlike most artists, Rateliff didn’t let the pandemic stop him from doing what he loves: performing. However, it has only been a short time since he last hit the stage with his Americana hits. This tour will be Rateliff’s first as the pandemic begins to subside. While he stepped away from the group and into the spotlight on his own with his last album, 2020’s solo It’s Still Alright, Rateliff is more than ready to hit the road with his friends for a summer tour. Nathaniel Rateliff has made a name for himself in music – sometimes as a rock-soul solo artist and sometimes with his backing band The Night Sweats. Dates begin on August 13th in Whitefish, MT, and continue through the final show on October 17th in Brooklyn, NY. The band is back in town as Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats prepare to go on tour this summer.
